Here is an idea for you. Since Penny Wong and the Socialist Left so strongly support the Palestinian / Hamas cause, why don't they give Western Australia to them as the new Palestinian state.
We may have to upgrade the "Rabbit Proof Fence", but that would be a small price to pay for the kudos the ALP would get for solving the ME problem.
