Don't wish to identify myself...but suffice to say, I was engaged as an industry "expert"?...lol...after the year one lecturers recognised I had an aptitude for the particular field I had no qualifications in (self taught and industry experience).

Once you have schooled others in any way and on any subject at a serious level, you realise just how easy it is to basically teach yourself anything, no matter how apparently complex.

Just need the information source.

On this issue, half the process of learning is gaining the capacity to conduct thorough and relevant research...then being interested enough, or tenatious enough, to follow the infomation trail to it's conclusion.

Add comprehension to the mix and you are almost there...after which the only think lacking is hands on industry experience...but you only need that if you want to actually do the stuff you learn for others.
