Welcome to the Lopi club Sierra. I have a free standing Lopi without a fan and it goes well. Have pulled two chimneys down from our old farmhouse and replaced one of them with the freestanding Lopi also have a third chimney which used to have a slow combustion everhot cooking stove with a water jacket to heat the water. Now just have an electric oven and gas cooktop in that chimney space. You are in Tassie aren't you? I can understand why you have the heater on today it's even cool here on the South Coast NSW. As for you Canberra blokes bloody freezing there all the time lol.
