Despite Simon's "boozy lunch" ravings about the commerciality of Tiof it would appear that Woodside are preparing the market for a "non commercial" decision on Tiof even at today's price.

So what are the numbers if we remove the 350 odd million barrels that were factored in as reserves?

It wont be nice considering that after all the expense in Mauritainia so far we are left with basically a 100 mbls from Chinguetti.

Only hope that French Guyane and The Falklands can come through now.

I am reluctantant to say it however Mauritiania is looking less like a major oil province with every dry hole and evn the wet ones.

$5 is looking very distant these days.
