Woodside's comments yesterday on Tiof weren't in my view very inspiring, and it might be weighing down the sp today. How many times have we now heard how hard the geology is? When will Woodies ever show enthusiasm for Tiof? When will (will?) they ever finish studying the field and actually do something constructive?
Sadly it's looking to me like no hurry on, Woodies 'steady as usual' while they get stuck into ever other development opportunity on their books. I'm now expecting a small Tiof development by later 2008, 5 long years after Tiof-1, annouced late this year at the earliest.
Thank god for the oil price and Uganda potential (may it be realised). At least Woodie have no control over those things!
