I dont see a logical connection between Sally's post and your reply and it is old news, but lets repeat. Everybody is familiar with efforts of Tesla and Panasonic, which is actually a good thing, because there would not be enough cobalt for all producers otherwise and could hinder EV boom in general, which would adversly affect also all lithium stocks you are bullish about.
The latter article clearly summarizes that they are practically at the end of what they can achieve in cobalt reduction in the horizon of next 10 years and cobalt is here to stay.
Also I hope that not too many new Tesla cars with reduced cobalt in their batteries catches fire, this could also slow down adoption in general and hurt everyone betting on EV boom. People need to trust their cars, not to be afraid of burning to death in them.
