'no qualms with wood interview'
'No qualms with Wood interview' June 27, 2005 From: AAP THE federal government has no qualms with former hostage Douglas Wood being paid for media interviews, Foreign Minister Alexander Downer said today.
"He's a private citizen; in private life people can do what they like – he's not Robinson Crusoe there," Mr Downer said. Mr Wood's paid television interview screened on Channel 10 yesterday was "quite moving", he said.
"It put a very human face on a situation," Mr Downer said.
