The NWS Joint Venture paid what the WA govt calculated they had to pay.
Even if the WA govt got it wrong like the ANAO said we are talking about $20M error here out of $1.9B in royalties paid (1% error). WA dept says their calculations are correct and ANAO is wrong so the whole premise that someone under paid could yet prove to be false.
Even if $20M extra needs to be paid it is spread across BHP, BP, Chevron, MIMI and Woodside. Big deal or maybe a slow news day?.......
