I am all for a greener world but the overall conservation strategy is flawed. The focus should be to reduce demand for fossil fuel not reducing supply. If Australia reduces supply, another country or supplier will step in. We have seen this happening. I admire the technology enablers that provide better alternatives. Eg LED lighting. Solar etc. The protestors should co-ordinate better with these technology enablers and maybe invest in them. Profit and saving the world can work hand in hand. I have been holding WPL stocks for a decade now. Fossils fuel will be replaced eventually. But the green movement is messing things up.
