re: woodside share placement - the4ls The share price is having a rest but I don't think it has anything to do with the WPL placement. It is too small to be of any consequence.
The chart pattern looks very similar to Feb/March, ie, a little bit more sideways to down to go, before a move up again.
3 announcemnts are due:
Ching finance and government go-ahead.
Guyane farm-in.
Drilling programme.
Any of which could spark the upturn.
I'm hoping to see 153 for a buying op. Can my nerve hold?
UBS research says target price 185, but add 60 cents if you remove drilling risk of 50%. ie UBS are presuming 50% of drilling this season will be dry. Too pessimistic for me.
