It's important to remember the impairment published by WPL is on SM. The future of the Canadian LNG asset.
As noted it is due to a present oversupply of LNG and projected future demand.
That is why decline in sp has been gradual and not precipitous while holders get their reduced but still reasonable div.
I'd be looking at buying more at just over $30.50 mark as imo it will test that area in the not too distant future.
And who can tell the future?
