If the Senegal Govt still had veto rights on any SNE JV deal then what can WPL sue COP for? They were never guaranteed anything.
I'm certainly no lawyer but it seems to me that a lawsuit from WPL over missing out on SNE would be akin to me suing my bank for not approving the home loan I applied for.
Not saying you're wrong Davy Boy. I'm just not sold that WPL would have any semblance of a valid threat. Just the fact they've already said that if the deal falls through they'll look elsewhere seems to be proof of that.
