Recently read that Woodside, have at the last moment, pulled out of their $3B deal with their JV offshore gas deal in Isral. The article then goes onto say that they are now seriously looking at other projects of 'exploration'.
My question to anyone out there that follows Woodside, would they be interested in the 'Ark' project either as a straight buyout or JV ? I know that they are usually associated with gas projects but would the conventional/non convential targets there, excite them enough to come aboard? Being onshore it must be a lot more desirable then all of the offshore targets they have been chasing.

I for one, would welcome them with open arms!
