so last year roughly A$0.91 + A$1.23 dividends gives you roughly an average 7 - 7.5% yield per share, which beats putting your money in a 4.5 - 5% term deposit. That's why many people do not like cash outlays for new projects or acquisitions because it reduces the net profit from which WDS will pay roughly 50% in dividends. So I expect there are now some people selling and buying term deposits
