I've been steadily buying $30 down to last buy at $24... I'm currently out of the money.
BUT - if we take 2022/23 as an example I was buying consumer discretionary as they were on the nose, started a pos in JBH at $48 and bought down to $38, we're now over $80 with some chunky dividends thrown in.
It takes balls to keep adding to a losing trade, particularly when sentiment is terrible, e.g. WDS currently.
O&G is notoriously cyclical, no doubt things are not great right now, net zero, 2007 repeat set-up yada yada. But even with these conditions WDS still able to pay big dividends. If the needle turns, it could really start unleashing torrents of cash imo. A few astute investors I know are saying buy oil and gas now. I'm listening.
