Yeah Biden needs oil prices to remain restrained with an election year coming up. However, he needs to take advantage of lower oil prices to top up reserves. This will probably put a floor under the price. Don't think he will let the price drop too far otherwise the masses will think that prices should always be depressed. A bit of political manipulation is always involved.
