Yes, I am heading down the LNP path because of this very issue - we need security for energy, even if we use a lot of solar in the day, we still need power at night and I don't like the idea of relying on batteries.
Plus we need export dollars and with Trump putting tariffs on everything and China reciprocating we can really take advantage of the politics being played out in the USA. Basically our products will be cheaper than USA equivalent. We just signed a gas deal with China and i have no doubt tariffs were factored into it.
