yes but those 32000 have been offset by getting rid of 41,000 consultants most of these were added under LNP, classic games being played out here. LNP like to claim they prefer smaller gov but replaced them highly paid consultants.
Its the same thing from both parties one costs more in the short term than the other, because at least with consultants they can be dumped pretty quickly at the end of the project but employees get less upfront $ but more difficult to remove and they have more overheads.
