I agree. Although I find it incredibly worrying how people can vote against their best interests so readily. The post above yours is a perfect example.
I hope people here understand that energy generation isn't even the biggest cost component when it comes to power. I also hope people understand that the private sector has been voting with their money already, and they don't tend to invest into loss making projects and that the energy transition is already occuring. I am not a 'greenie' but it's just common sense and oil and gas is still an incredibly important thing now, and into the future.
What I like about WDS is the assets and the cost of production. It's really that simple and I think the focus on LNG is a good one as we know gas generally will be a big part of the energy mix for a long time to come.
