Quite possibly, overnight in the USA, the oil benchmarks fell by about 7%, energy being the worst performing sector. Like him or loathe him, President Trump is doing exactly what he campaigned on ie tariff reform and a reset of the flailing USA economy. Quite a number of HC members have posted ad nauseum that the CEO (USA native born and educated and qualified) was ideally placed and strategically capable of dealing with all these offshore issues. The response so far, acquiring overpriced and dubious assets, necessitating more debt, and now a stretched balance sheet.
