Underlying asset good - management - concern. Unfortunately the usual for management is to curtail activities rather than go hard when other company's are struggling and not financed etc. I have concerns that WDS will not play a strong game and be conservative when they should be hungry and strong . Great to have good asset and huge value to be realised with operational and late stage projects but really not valued correctly now so you are buying deep value ( with price declines) but only if management leverage their position to be lower quartile producer and competition to fail. So USA many green grants etc winding down and will not be funded again but Australia looks to be headed the other way with continues subsidy and political interference in gas and energy markets all preventing long term infrastructure decisions ultimately increasing cost of living and cost of production compared to competitors in other countries.

I also hope to collect good quality shares but with a bias in regards to energy offshore and stupidity or short term Aussie politics is a unknown. Going to have to diversify what I buy as poor management decisions can broadside even brilliant assets down to just average investment value and WDS not having a good track record on standing its ground with politicians unfortunately.

Politicians and and public just don't understand the cost of energy infrastructure and how long it takes to pay back that capital expenditure and as shown by aussie closure of coal fired plants to reality of cost of keeping them running after a lack if investment due to unknown policy going back a decade when gas fired replacements should have been built
