WDS holders endured a tough week. I have added a link from an article issued 25MAR25 by Energy intel regarding Aramco interest in the Louisiana LNG sell down project. It’s a worthwhile creditable read that indicates how important Louisiana is for Aramco to get a share of the Atlantic Basin. The article states reliable sources indicating Aramco as a likely partner.
The Saudis have committed 1 trillion to American investment, and Trump is scheduled to visit the Kingdom and announce these Saudi investment's in May. As Trump loves to grandstand these monetary events, the Louisiana partnering announcement, if Aramco may not be made until then?

Tokyo Gas and MidOcean have recently made strategic acquisitions in the US that appear to align with partnering to supply Louisiana project. Aramco brought out Tokyo Gas’s share for both Woodside Pluto and Gorgan project, and this reflected Aramco’s strategic approach to acquiring pacific basin projects with strong support position in investing with WDS.
Japan will be pressing to negotiate on their auto car maker’s tariffs, so I would expect serious dollars in investment will be thrown Trumps way. With the imminent decision for Louisanna and the time critical nature for nations to respond, Japan may just need to agree to WDS terms as a potential partner.
