Global prices have needed a reset for a very long time, the hard part will be a recession off the back of it, i.e. job losses and families not being able to pay mortgages, feed children properly etc, very sad. Companies next steps (in 2025/2026) will be to cut staff, cut dividends and cost cut to preserve their balance sheets and please investors.
It is amazing really, that in 4 trading days, peoples psychology has changed from the market always goes up to people being ready to jump off buildings in a sea of red. History says, and markets are designed this way, it will recover over time so people can keep making money and have perception of wealth and feel like smart investors.
Take care out there and remember you can always turn off the computer, enjoy the beautiful country we live in, and come back to it in 2029 to see it all green again (well I hope).
