The question is is it heads to a recession / depression what sectors do you target and at what point. Banks , infrastructure and supermarkets were always seen to be safe havens long term but so much $ pile into them they never get to full discount. Every recession creates a new industry with a better efficiency that has started out of the ashes but picking them early?
Energy - has to be lowest cost producers in right positions in right politics so selecting country mix is essential
It is going to be messy either way and will take 12 months to play out to see winners
