No need to feel grateful to the Chairman Goyder, the WDS Board and CEO for anything, no really nett achievement for the average retail holder to report. At the 2024 AGM, when they were not catching the bouquets and accepting all the plaudits, were voting themselves very generous enhanced remuneration and bonuses, and if I recall correctly expanded the Board numbers, that worked out well.
Now, WDS is heading towards, if not already, a smouldering dung heap for a once well-regarded market top line blue chip Australian stock. This is looking more and more similar to the QAN fate, without the taxpayer funded bailout. Perhaps, some form of rescue merger or such with STO before the inevitable, is an option.
