LNP will want it's pound of flesh in senate so they may sit on hands for a while. There promise was for 30 days approval from memory is they win. They are hardly going to make anything easy no matter what when in opposition.

Lab really don't care if gas is in short supply in East coast and want it that way to justify reservation and not approving and then they can do deal with greens and exclude Libs. Gets all their green wind and solar happening with a pathway that does not involve gas generation taking any cream off peaking power.
Once the $75 quarterly electricity bonus payment runs out expect pain and 20% price increase initially.
The insecurity on electricity pricing and unavailability of other sources without green tax will send business offshore.
Not sure what more incentives they can offer wind and solar but they are not real interested at current deals especially without other infrastructure in place
Maybe Australia will gets lots of cheap battery capacity and solar panels from china as it is too expensive with tariffs . Now how long to approve and get the transmission lines in place.
Asia full of cheap subsidised energy and Australia with the energy raw materials - gas - going to rank in worlds most expensive due to insecurity , crap policy and crap planning. So much for processing our rare earths when we don't have energy resource to do it! Smart country getting dumber just being a mine for rest of world again
