You know - I live in Victoria. And I would welcome a series of shutdowns to the gas supply this winter. I would be happy to sit in my house in my ski gear and beanie and quietly suck it up …..because I would get a great deal of pleasure and be thoroughly entertained by the moaning and bitching and finger pointing that would go on….. much of it perversely from all the climate change crusaders (with their ‘no more gas’ placards )who might finally understand that a hardline stance mightn’t be such a bright idea…that protesting against every new gas field development and playing a huge part in strangling supply might just have some repercussions.
‘No more gas’ indeed.
