Such a sudden change in the landscape.
For a long time the ‘Middle East risk’ was priced into the price of Brent (so the WDS share price carried an element as well)
For all of this year with Brent falling to US$60 and below the risk had been priced down to virtually zero.
You just never know.
Won’t be good for markets generally but WDS a great ‘contra’ stock to hold at times like this. It used to be front of mind as to why I held WDS but even I’d forgotten!
