My guess is that whoever sold 1.8 million calls striking at 25.00 and expiring Tomorrow would desperately want to suppress Wds. Last Wed, those call, who bought them, were worthless. All sudden, the seller of those were deep in the debt, at 25.50 sp, now. 50c, plus other lower striking price call, around 3-4 mill would pose a couple mil losses. Not insignificant numbers. Hope oil prices will hold onto the gain from now to have Citi and other shorter to have a further burn.
