also, I believe the post election spectre is TAX reform and an attempt to re-balance the fairness of the taxation system which has been a topic of debate for near on two decades since the henry report, with consecutive governments on both sides of the aisle tinkering at the edges for fear of upsetting the majority voting block, whereas now that majority has moved away from those with accumulated wealth to younger voters the policy framework has changed (that's kinda how democracy works)
also, also - I'm pretty sure they're not coming for your superannuation, their coming for the cohort of people who have enough money to pay people to find the loopholes in order to play the taxation system. in the same way that the private health system in the country is full of holes whereby insurance providers are selling "tax advantageous" policies such that people still end up using the public system anyway....
