Re GST, once the current rate and such is reviewed, it will be annual budget type event, ie the need for more GST fairness. GST revenue is legislated and collected by the Federal Govt and distributed to the States and Territories in accordance with the Grants Commission formulae at the time. What could go wrong with that?
Re the Labor grab for your superannuation, precedent is not on your side. Remember then PM Rudd, who promised not to make a jot of difference, blah blah, and then prior to the 2022 election Labor promised not to tinker with superannuation. Anyone with any savings, especially in superannuation is at grave risk. Labor is very good at risking and wasting other people's monies, tried and tested, look at the Future Fund, that is the next target for their profligate tax, spend, and waste policies.
