Honestly, you only need to look at the budget to see that miners are paying more than anyone. First budget surplus in 15 years, right off the back of a major fiscal stimulus program, as a result of the huge taxes paid by our mining companies. Not only are they providing jobs and the means for this country to run, they're offsetting our government's inability to practice fiscal responsibility and good money management.
Yet loonies still think miners = bad and love to ramble nonsense
