Perhaps you should explain this to the Labor government, that have just announced that LNG will be required until 2050.
The PM made a statement today that the Labor goverment's target would be 80% renewables by 2030.
This is simply not possible (and they know that) because Australia does not have enough labour and machinery to excavate and process the amount of minerals required to come even close.
This is where the entire green argument falls over; Put simply we will have to rape and pillage the earth for 25 years to get even close to 80% renewables.
So, I'm confident that WDS have enough time to transition
