All they need to do is to get an elder to say they are aboriginal and "hay pesto" they are!! Cooper is an elder hereself so I guess she can "self proclaim" her aboriginality just like Lidia Thorpe who is largely Irish/English - maybe Lidia (and Cooper) should devote her attentions to a treaty under the UK constitution for wrongs done to Celts by terrible, Romans, Saxons (i.e Danes/Germans), Vikings (Norwegians) and Normans (French) - plenty to choose - an bit of "truth telling" may not go amiss. Celts did not cede sovereignty to their terrible interlopers (i.e settlers) who terrorized and slaughtered the Celtic indigenous people of UK and Ireland - up with Boudica the Celtish war hero of 60 - 61 AD (at least us Celts were a cohesive people)
