In FY24 you should get more than 5%, but what about FY25? what about FY26?
If analyst consensus is correct and FY26 dividend is $1.26, thats much less than 5% on current share prices.
Next lets look at WDS earnings and dividends for several years prior to covid:
Why do I look prior to covid, because things were more 'normal' then.
We can see from 2015 to 2019 dividends ranged from $2.04 to $1.15.
Now people will say WDS acquired BHP oil assets, sure they did, but the number of shares on issue also doubled.
