All that really has to be recognised is that a dispute has been lodged that needs to be formally replied to and accepted by both parties. Whatever that result is the next step in process is arbiteation. Not sure about your understanding about Western world dispute processes but that seems pretty much the same for Senegal. So far at least anyway.
