I can't believe you guys are spending so much time over nothing more than an attempt to "Extract" Money or equivalent by FAR.

You will note FAR has not alleged any breach of the JOA, PSC or any laws of Senegal, and neither has any of the other JV partners.

More importantly, the Gov of Senegal has not raised any issue.

Its only FAR stating "the JV HAS NOT been notified...." of Woodside being the JV partner.

"The Joint Venture has not received any notification that the Government of Senegal has approved the transfer of interest to Woodside."

Now, contrast that with the statement about FAR's dispute with COP regarding its PE rights.

"FAR continues to be open to finding an amicable solution with ConocoPhillips. FAR continues to reserve its rights in relation to the dispute, including resolution through international arbitration as provided for in the Joint Operating Agreement. "

Yup...they said it loud and clear - the JOA.

Now, where is the reference to the JOA, PSC or laws of Senegal in relation to any issue with WPL?!?
