There's an article on FB with CNE coming into the fray on this dispute. I noticed that CNE subtly support WPL by mentioning how important the development is for the people of Senegal.
I am positive that WPL nor CNE ever thought FAR could take the dispute to this point or further. To my mind, WPL and CNE felt that if they continued with the drilling campaign and drilled more wells as they did then the Senegal govt would roll over. To this point it hasn't happened, I just hope the govt continues to stay out of this dispute. If the current govt are voted in then I think FAR will come out on top. However I am unsure of the election forecasts or indeed how the opposition would react. Just my opinion.
