Dont want to sound like Im slagging the company, I had had a long business relationship with them and know several of the directors.
My main gripe currently is that they have sacrificed being a boutique/quality player to being a discount brand marketed solely to their own retail outlets.
Yes Woolies sell a lot of booze, but independant retailers will always be a major player as well. Anyone who has worked in wholesale and dealt with woolies will also know the strategy - grill the supplier for every price cut/rebate known to man. Are we therefore going to be making wow holders rich at grb expense?
