It makes me wonder about shorters trying to hold down a stock. Wouldn't that get more and more difficult as a company continues to grow and increase revenue? If the SP remained low (because of shorters) the stock becomes clearly undervalued and then it starts to draw attention from investors looking for a bargain.
Put it another way - imagine somebody doing chin ups and there's a small child (shorters) holding onto their leg. If that person isn't so good at chin ups, the child will be able to prevent them from performing any. But if they're really strong, the child should only slow them down a bit.
It makes me wonder about shorters trying to hold down a stock....
