Woolies vs Aldi

Aldi sources cheap foreign grown food. We have no control if this food is grown with slave labour. We don't know if it is grown in North Korea. We have no control over what pesticides are used. We can't be sure if their foods are tested for residues here. Politicians choose to look the other way.

Ag jobs once done here have been basically exported overseas and then imported here to undermine other Ag jobs.

The above will become normal when the ALP gets in and drives more industry overseas with their high tax rates and crass regulations.

So it's in this world that Woolworths are running around with a blindfold not knowing what to do.

I have long advocated that Woolies copies Aldi and opens up similar shops in areas where the demographic prefers this cheaper type of goods. In fact they should dive into those areas where Aldi is planning to go. They should be trying to slow Aldi down.

The Masters debacle revealed a lack of leadership. So they would need to recruit from areas where Aldi has been slowed or stopped.
