It's not Albo's cost of living crisis --------- it's happening all over the world.
In Italy, the right wing government has plonked a 'no notice' windfall tax on banks - which has sent the bank johnnies into a tizz.
there are cost rises everywhere -- we just got a 59% increase in property tax in Paris (and oh boy, are they screaming)
meanwhile us country folk are having much more modest price rises.
That said - overall in the last couple of years - the cost of owning property in Fr has dropped in what is called property taxes - one big one was just plain scrapped -------- the other one just got a rise - notable for all, - but, a biggie for Paris.
Food is up- but, I think on the way down again. Fuel is up atm. - Overall less than in Oz. But it's everywhere, it's not Albo specific.
