    yes, really -- ask any archaeologist -- we find butchering marks on bones way before any evidence of agriculture
    we also find grains have been used by men far further back than any form of agriculture


    so, today may be different - but, it's very very clear that butchers and bakers came way before farmers.

    Hunter gatherers were well versed in butchering and cooking.



    If you want a close vision look - look no further than our own aboriginals -- they butchered, they baked - but, they didn't farm - at least not all of them.
