I avoid shopping at woolworths and their main rival like the plague due to their predating on small companies and suppliers and the general nature of the anti competitive duopoly- I think more and more a returning to support smaller family based businesses.
But I have been in the local store a couple of time recently and noticed two things- massive price hikes on most products particularly the 'home/stolen brands and a total rearranging of the shop- pretty much everything bar the deli and bakery has moved- is this a ploy to distract customers from noticing the outrageous price gouging going on!
While I still rate wollworths just above others as they did not blatantly rort the job keeper tax purse like some of the other co's now gouging the bejeesus out of the Australian consumer and turning the screws on suppliers!
So called great Aussie co's putting the foot down on inflation!
