Woolworths cancels ANZAC day, page-35

I never celebrate/acknowledge it personally. Irish Australians and probably ditto Kiwis were lambs to the slaughter authorised by Lord Kitchener/Churchill. It was a dumb offensive even in the context of the First World War. ie(Control of the Dardanelles)....the fact there are hyms and Prayers also precludes me as a participant. It has become a trendy event as is the Kakoda Trail. I have relatives who fought in both wars I salute them. As for ANZAC day = Nah.
