only the other day, a friend of watso was explaining the difference between what woolies (and obviously coles) were paying, and the sale price of the end product . according to watso's mate, there is an increasing difference between the buy price and the sale price.
watso is not too sure what happens these days - but donkey years ago, watso would regularly buy a side of beef from coles - and toss the lot into the freezer.... at the time, watso had a family to feed - ie 2 adults and 4 kids.. at the time coles (or woolies) gave a good deal.
watso recalls arguments as to who had the best meat - ie either woolies or coles - but a fair suck of the sauce bottle, it was all the same.
these days, watso simply looks at the best RTC... 85% RTC, was good enough for watso (for what it is worth, but that was coles)
