    According to the latest news former Woomera Prohibited Area seems to be opend to foreign investors as well. Depending on the long term coal price development WECs large deposit - together with deployable BCB technology - has the potential to become an attractive asset to power utilities from overseas.


    "Several companies, including state-owned Chinese interests, are expected to be granted licences.

    Defence Minister Stephen Smith will make the announcement today in tandem with SA Premier Jay Weatherill, who predicts the zone will rapidly become "one of Australia's most significant resource provinces".
