Nice chart, kudos to the ch-artist!

So many catalysts for EMP at the moment which include:
- AGL's Crib Point LNG terminal in Victoria was knocked back on environmental grounds which was supposed to fill the gas supply gap issue with aging gas fields
- Russia/Ukraine conflict causing shortages of gas with regard to supply for western Europe
- A hungry Asian and world market for gas as they transition to renewables
- Dwindling local supply especially in Victoria while Australia remains a number 1 exporter of gas causing local supply pressures
- Network pipe capacity issues to supply the majority of Victoria's gas requirements inland from up north
- Esso building a new LNG supply nearby showing a willingness and need for new gas infrastructure and local supply approvals
- Recent independent resource upgrade for EMP firming up the business case to move forward, along with a possibility to fast track gas to market by 2025
- Gas consistently remaining on average above the $10/GJ base case for EMP both now and into the foreseeable future based on supply/demand projections with a note that gas is likely to cost more on average if a 2050 target of zero carbon is to be achieved as gas will be needed in greater supply as the transition energy of choice
- NPV base case for EMP is $400m at around $10/GJ, and at current gas prices NPV is $1.2b at around $14/GJ
- Local supply being more economical and more environmentally friendly as mentioned in Environment Victoria's report on AGL's Crib Point and the argument against it both on an environmental standpoint and an increased supply cost above locally sourced gas, with a projected price premium of $1.70/GJ above local costs for LNG terminal gas as noted below
