It would be interesting too see the size of the easement for the pipeline and the plans around this eventually. By memory the pipeline would have been for Motembo crude originally and probably went close to the Alameda drill pad. Motembo is an interesting field that promises a lot but fizzled out due to the nature of volcanic reservoirs. Maybe it was purely production out of fractures and in those early days the understanding of that and drill techniques weren't able to master it.
There might be a return to Motembo at one point to see if horizontal drilling can get a decent flow. Only a few million barrels were recovered when there was expected 100mmbo reserves. I could see the odd well being drilled to produce when needing the high api crude with cyclical production and taker offtake.
There is some exciting plays in block 9. Hopefully we get an update on seismic plans as clearly the potential needs to be properly quantified.
