THat sell off this morning was akin to a Bullish Hammer - a Candlestick chart pattern. Starts off high then falls to a certain low point then reverses back up again - usually over a whole day - but in today's case all happened within an hour or so.
There were 90 trades between 10.22am & 10.27am today - totalling 6.9m - ranging from 7.0 down to 6.5 and back up again to 6.9 - incl. 4 1.5m+ parcels spread across 58 of these 90 trades.
But don't be surprised if this sort of thing happens again in the next 2 weeks - whilst - imo - tax loss selling can expect to prevail - before ending on 28 June.
My sentiment? Buy - IF & when it does happen again - but you're most likely to need to be as watchful as a DT - i.e. nothing else to usefully do? GLTAH.
